I’m Dr. Jake Hennen, and I am deeply committed to carrying on the thoughtful, high quality chiropractic and wellness care that's been offered at Spring Creek Chiropractic & Massage since it was founded in 2004.

A bit about myself: I was born in Davenport, Iowa, the birthplace of chiropractic—you see, it’s in my blood. I was raised on a diet of farming, home cooking, and exercise by a mother who was (and at 65 years young, still is) a nurse, a gardener, a cook, and athlete; her drive toward wellness was instilled in me from the beginning.

Throughout my career, I have studied massage and physical therapies, as well as the culinary arts. I worked as an EMT and as a personal trainer before following the call to chiropractic. I earned my degree at Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California, and I have also completed more than 300 hours of functional neurology training—I can care for both your body and your brain.

Sport is a core part of my life. I’m a former footballer turned triathlete who has cycled competitively throughout the U.S., Ireland, and France. And I’m currently training for IronMan! It is my philosophy to integrate chiropractic with sport, nutrition, and overall wellness to work with all health-minded people to empower your bodies to help heal themselves and to feel your optimum best for everyday life.

Ester Yu, Licensed Massage Therapist

Ester is a graduate of Ke Kino Massage Academy & Institute of Healing in Plano and a Certified Personal Trainer through International Sports Sciences Associates. She was first introduced to massage therapy and chiropractic work after a sports-related injury that left her with chronic pain. Today she believes massage and strengthening can aid in self-care and progressively relieve pain. While being intuitive to the unique needs of each individual, Ester offers firm, clinically based deep tissue massage; myofascial techniques; active release technique; trigger point; muscle energy technique; sports massage; prenatal; lymphedema massage; and some stretching to calm, reset, and relax the body. Her work can benefit athletes, prenatal clients, patients with chronic pain, and anyone seeking overall wellness.

Nahla is effervescent, peaceful, and potent. She lives her life through the lens of wellness and play, and is eager to share that outlook with others. After a successful journey as a public school teacher for seven years, Nahla stepped full time into the world of yoga after life events made her crave a life filled with joy and verve. Nahla's desire to learn about wellness only strengthened after her trip to Thailand, where she completed her levels of study in Thai Yoga via Nuad BoRan, specializing in post-natal body treatments. Nahla has completed more than 500 hours of yoga teacher training, and has practiced various yoga styles for the past 13 years; her present focus is in Restorative, Yin, and Thai yoga styles.

Carrie Keep, Certified Pilates Instructor

Carrie was a professional chef looking to get fit. After finding her passion in Pilates and feeling the changes in her own body, inside and out, Carrie was eager to learn more and motivated to change careers. She is now a Power Pilates Comprehensive Program certified instructor at Classic Pilates and Equinox Fitness Club in Dallas. And, she's a lot of fun.


Chris Thomas, Certified Stretching Therapist

Chris Thomas, Certified Stretching Therapist

Chris is a Master Fitness Trainer and Stretching Specialist certified with the International Sports Sciences Association since 1999. In private half-hour and one-hour sessions, Chris offers highly personalized stretch therapy for clients seeking improved range of motion and flexibility, rehabilitation from injuries, and optimized function and performance for everyday life.
